Below is a list of what my local stores policies are. If there is a printable version of the policy, I strongly recommend that you print them off and have them with you when you shop. They do come in handy during those frustrating “I-don’t-like-couponers“ or those “new and/or uninformed” employee scenarios that we find ourselves in on rare occasions.
*As of May 28, 2014, Albertsons stores in North Texas no longer double/triple coupons.
*My local Brookshire’s policy is to triple coupons up to 35¢, double coupons up to 50¢ and will double/triple one like coupon per transaction.
*My local Lowe’s Market does not double or triple coupons.
*My local Tom Thumb’s policy is to triple coupons up to 35¢, double coupons up to 50¢ and will only double/triple one like coupon per transaction. Tom Thumb’s policy does allow for “stacking”, which means you can use one manufacturer coupon and one in-ad coupon per item.
