My Shopping Trips

I don’t regularly post my shopping trips, but I do like to do it on occasion to show – especially those new to couponing – that you can save money purchasing name brand products. Since I live quite a ways from any supermarket, Walmart is my store of choice to shop (it’s still 18 miles to Walmart, but it’s closer than 30!). Plus, I’ll admit that I get a thrill from combining coupons with price matching!

My coupon savings was $41.18. And a fairly close calculation of price matching savings is $34.71.  The total amount paid was $52.72 – making my total savings $75.89 or 59%!
